Government schools are one of the most sinister affronts to liberty in our country....and probably the most overlooked ingredient of Statism.
It gets overlooked because the statist indoctrinators get ahold of our minds at such a young age, it takes a complete re-education, an awakening, to understand Liberty again. And even when have been awakened, we still fall into the brainwashing of our youth.

Friend 1 got caught with 2 seeds and a stem in OK. She got 140 hours community service and $350 in fines. Friend 2 - broke a pipe in his car, split in to 68 pieces. He got a paraphernalia ticket for each piece that had resin on it.Sister has spent thousands on fines for anything from a blunt to an ounce. $100 is still stupid, but better than most cities now.
Awesome post...Which is why homeschooling is best because the parent becomes reeducated along with their children and can work towards destroying the horrible indoctrination of the their youth.

Why drop your child off at a government controlled institution in the first place? You say you want the Man off your back, you're voting for Ron Paul, but you voluntarily sign your kid up for lessons in servitude to the powers that be? Makes no sense.
