Doesn't the executive have final say about what laws actually get enforced?
Doesn't the executive have the power not to enforce legal tender laws?
Doesn't the executive have the power to tell the IRS to stand down?

Congress won't abolish the Fed and he knows it.
"I'd sign it if it passed" is tantamount to saying "sure, kid, whatever you want to believe".
There are no crimes against people.
There are only crimes against the state.
And the state will never, ever choose to hold accountable its agents, because a thing can not commit a crime against itself.

I totally agree! But can you get elected saying that? Maybee we should Audit it first and then build more ammunition for our case. As long as Rand hasn't changed inside, he does not have to sound like his father. Ron is brutally honest, Rand is cunning and diplomatic.

That's true. I just thought that since Rand is already elected he could just come out and say now that the Fed should be abolished. But he did come out and say the other day that the dollar should be tied to gold, which is good.

I think Rand is trying to slowly bring the neocons around to the Paul platform. He knows he will be able to bring the party line towards libertarianism as long as he plays it cool and uses baby steps

To hell with Gary Johnson!! If Ron Paul announces his candidacy and he chooses not to run because the "real deal" is running then I'll come back and give him props. However, I've had a bad feeling about him for quite some time now and seriously doubt he would do that.
