    What a complete moron.

This is a guy who has a radio show devoted for ways to get out of debt...AND HE IS DEFENDING THE FED???? Hey Dave, are you so dull that you can't see how the FED CAUSES people to make bad decisions with easy money and go into debt?

Do you not see the FED's role in encouraging an environment of debt? Are you nuts?

Secondly, you are a Christian? Read what God has to say about dishonest scales and debasement and then get back with me.

    *complete two-handed facepalm*

He used Peter's father being in prison to attack Peter Schiff in a completely horrible way. This guy is scum.
    Irvin Schiff is a hero.

Dave Ramsey is also the same guy who endorsed a bailout voter for TN governor: the infamous Representative "Zigzag" Zach Wamp.

Dave Ramsey set up a strawman and the caller wasn't quick enough to pick up on it. He kept rattling off a list of companies that would have to "close" for the stock market to "crash". But not every company closed when the stock market crashed before the great depression either.

Funny how every single company he recommended dropped by at least 50% as of early 2010. One even had to be nationalized in order to prevent it from being closed. The only reason every single one of them didn't close is that our currency was extremely devalued making their debts worth a lot less.

In fairness, Ramsey's advice is mostly geared to people who can't balance a checkbook but that doesn't mean he isn't an idiot.

He is good at helping people save and pay down their debts but it will be the people who save that will be hurt the most by all of this inflation. He has no concept of what real money is.

That's true, which is why it's important to invest, not just save.
