Unhappy Brave Cops kill father of 2 for not wearing a seatbelt

At a DUI checkpoint they kill a man who wasnt even driving. They allege he was not wearing a seatbelt and was trying to put out a joint.
This is a f*ed up system

The DA guy says they were just doing their job. No misconduct.
Is the lifeof a man really so cheap?

This is what happens when the state gets to arbitrate the conflicts it provokes / is involved in.

If you killed someone (accidentally or say in the throws of passion), and
    a) got to be the judge of your own trial
    b) were beyond reproach thanks to a deeply entrenched double standard of morality

you would do the same, you would get off scot free.

The cop himself didn't judge his own case, though his presentation of the event was undoubtedly taken as unblemished fact, but its nearly the same thing.

"there were a number of LT's on the scene, the police chief was on the scene, there were captains on the scene, nobody saw anything which caused them alarm, which made this seem to be particularly unusual, other than a struggle which took a long time to subdue."

Yeah nothing unusual going on here at all. They are just pissed that the guy struggled for his life instead of falling over dead when the captains and LT's decided it was time for him to die.

    Sick.

The nazi's probably would have stolen the joint and sent the family on their merry way.

HHH is a racist social conservative who advocates using force to remove homosexuals, pagans, and other groups hated by the religious right from society. This is why I will never fully trust Lew, the LvMI and company. It dismays me when I see certain LRC columnists, whom I know are bigots from my personal correspondence with them in the past, posting articles on the C4L site today.

Or do you just like random rants?
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Just goes to show how dangerous not wearing a seat belt is. They always say people die from not wearing seat belts.

I shouldn't laugh, but that was pretty funny.

Perhaps a seperate thread with some evidence? I've been a regular reader of lewrockwell.com for quite a few years now and have never detected any racism.

Well, I was just thinking along the same lines of when they say pot ruins peoples lives. It sure does when they bust them for it.

Haha, yes, you are absolutely correct on both accounts.
