Lawson can move thirty miles in either direction and run in NC2 or NC13. Durham and UNC-Chapel Hill are huge skews and can never vote Republican. Let's fight a battle we can win statistically in 2012.

Damn I wish he would have moved for this election. He would have been in there now.

I'm sad. Lawson is my favorite liberty candidate.

If this district is that stupid, Lawson would be even dumber to run again for this seat.

A dead donkey with a D next to its name will win in this district no matter how much effort we all put in

    Thus the joys of Gerrymandering.

It's pointless to throw money and time into races that amount to a Massachusetts 4th.

The trick is running strong primary campaigns against hidebound GOPers in strong GOP states and districts.

He, of course, got my vote. Unfortunately, Chapel Hill is a stronghold for Che-loving Marxists, and that makes the district difficult to win. However, Republicans may take the state general assembly, and districts are being redrawn this year.

The districts will be different in 2012.
Iím not a libertarian. Iím not advocating everyone run around with no clothes on and smoke pot.
