Right now you could buy about 37 American Silver Eagle 1 oz coins from APMEX or Nothwest Territorial mint for 1000. In 2 year those 37 will be worth 100 a piece or 3700 and you aint going to get much better unless you speculate. Azteca Gold is great one at 5 Cents you get 20000 shares. Silver has already been found there just waiting on other holes to be assayed. I am selling at $1.66 a share in 4 more years. For you that would be 33,000 if you are willing to do this.
Put your money in a broker and wait for the stock market to crash.
Then buy NovaGold or Hecla.

If you really need high returns (and willing to tolerate a bit of risk), put your money with an experienced forex trader.
You can be surprised how fast money can double in forex with a good trader who knows what he's doing. (You'd be equally surprised how fast it can disappear with a trader who doesn't know the first thing about what he's doing).
I personally got +30% in the past 2 weeks.
Buy physical silver from ebay, apmex or a local dealer. You need strong hands but just buy, hold and wait. The revaluation is coming in short time and then you can trade for gold. Gold will go parabolic once the GSR closes (or reverses :-D) and once the gov't gets out of the way and real estate bottoms you can buy yourself a nice little estate. Paper is worthless, but metal is forever.
guess which guns have been getting cheaper recently? none. while past performance does not guarantee future returns, a quality rifle has held its value over the years...
plus you could hunt....or just protect yourself.....

You are correct about a collector rifle, i have a Winchester Model 1890 punp .22 , it is a WRF .22 , that's a Winchester Rim Fire . Great condition. Graded at 80% blueing . Very solid rifle.
