So glad he got promoted, this show looks fantastic. This is going to be on FOX's regular network not Fox Business
Only voted for Ron Paul and Trump in 28 years of living because I greatly respect honest men/women who expose disgusting illusions.

    Did anyone see this show?
I haven't been the biggest of Stossel fans recently, as I often find him kind of weak and wishy-washy in arguments, but I did think this particular show was a major win.
I hope it becomes available online.

Yeah, you can't really deny Stossel's libetarian influence on Fox News. Here is the recent show from yesterday:

    Thumbs up show
    John Adams:

There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.

    Thomas Jefferson:

No man has a natural right to commit aggression on the equal rights of another, and this is all from which the laws ought to restrain him.

    Interesting show, here's my comments:

-Stossel started out by saying that the left wants more gov't, while the right wants less. Well, the facts show that they both want more government, despite the rhetoric.

-The Georgia town that privatized some services and cut their budget in proves that we don't need government for roads, garbage collection, or any other city service. If privatization worked wonders in one area, why can't it work in EVERY area?

-Trump didn't answer whether he would leave NY, but he knows that most rich people would do this if pushed far enough. Governments need to either shrink or go broke. CA is going to be the test case since it has a lot of rich people and a crazy government.

-Stossel mentioned the multitude of taxes, but did not mention the biggest, sneakiest one of all- the federal reserve money printing machine. If 40% of your income goes to government via taxes, another 10-20% goes to inflation- which really means it's going to the gov't's pals on wall street. Why didn't Stossel cover this important fact?

-Paul Ryan is a joke. He's pretending to be a free market guy, but has no problem stealing money from productive people to shovel into failed welfare programs and other boondoggles just to gain personal political power. Why didn't Stossel challenge him on this? Why didn't he have Ron Paul on instead, a much more honest, straightforward guy?

The battle is not left vs. right or rich vs. poor. The battle is government vs the people. Until we start discussing the moral issue of government and the violence backing it, the battle will be ongoing and most will not be happy.

Why would Stossel use Paul Ryan as an example of a person who refuses "free stuff" when he voted for TARP?

Looks like Stossel is losing his way.
Ron Paul let the cat out of the bag.

You don't get a multi million dollar contract for opposing the status quo. Stossel gave aid and comfort to the military industrial complex on his stupid show.

The Republicans and Democrats don't care about domestic policy so long as the war gravy train is well funded.

I watched this last night. It was pretty good, the glaring mistake was him saying the right want's less government. Although he did acknowledge that under the last three republican presidents government got bigger.

Stossel's new format with Fox does not play to his strength like the network he was on before. He does better when he narrates over clips and shows data that makes his point. This show had a little of that. Stossel is definitely not good at interviewing people and calling them on thier misstatements.

Overall I like Stossel and think besides the Judge he is our next biggest ally in the media. He just needs to find his sweet spot again.

By the way, is this a new series, or just one show?

Yeah, I was wondering why he didn't use Ron Paul as an example.

    I liked the show though.

    Stossel's response:

I like Ron Paul. I had a chance to interview him when I was at ABC and enjoyed it. We will try to have him on at some point. But at the time we taped the show, Paul Ryan was one of the more visible faces in the opposition making a coherent philosophical argument against the Obama Administration's agenda. (Plus, I had a chance to ask him why on earth he voted for TARP.)
