Anybody have experience with this? I'll be flying for the first time since my local airport got the full body scanners and if I am chosen for the scan I will refuse, can anybody tell me what I can expect from my refusal? Thanks in advance.

Tell them you "Opt Out" BEFORE walking into the scanner.
You will subjected to a pat down.

Sounds easy enough. That is what I will do. So I do have the right to opt out? Will I be threatened in any way?

maybe they may try to rape you with a baton, or not let you fly at all. Just went through TSA today, literally like 20 people in blue shirts ready to catch Osama Bin Laden himself walk through the scanners with 40 lbs of explosives strapped to him or something. Really unreal that these people think they gunna catch anyone

I have no first-hand experience but read every neked scanner article that crosses the news. You will either go through the neked scanner or go through a metal detector and/or pat down. Refusing the neked scanner = metal detector/pat down. If you don't know what the neked scanner looks like, it's the thing people walk inside and put their hands above their head. So avoid that line.
I do not really care for the pat down , so I guess will just go with the scanner .
