Okay ... I finally read through the link. I didn't follow through to the links sources. I'm curious to read the next installment of the analysis ... but to this point, I'm not buying it. Except for one study that used some wheat bran, there is nothing remotely close to looking at whole wheat. Looking only at all-purpose flour would be like using a study on people that drink apple juice and then make claims about if apples are good/bad for you.
