Who here is from Western Virginia/Ridge and Mountain region?

I believe those would be Congressional districts 5, 6, 9, and 10.

5th District - Charlottesville, Bedford, Timberlake, Danville, Martinsville & surroundings

6th District - Roanoke, Lynchburg, Harrisonburg, Staunton & surroundings

9th District - Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Wytheville, Radford, Norton, Bristol & surroundings

10 District - Winchester, Front Royal, Manassas & surroundings





I'm in Botetourt, just outside Roanoke. Grew up in Giles County bordering West Virginia.


We all know this is a distinct region of Virginia. It's not the suburbs of DC, the beach, or the Piedmont. It's not as grown up and in my opinion it's still more manageable politically, especially from the local levels, than the other areas of Virginia.

Looking forward to meeting fellow Virginians from this area here, hopefully!
