Considering the concept of emergency powers, specifically war powers and the amended Trading with the Enemy act of March 9,1933 gun rights should be top on the list as this single case could impact our rights more than any case I have seen.

The issue is do our rights disappear under state of emergency ? the answer is going to be very important.

I agree with you, but this isn't how people are explaining the issue, I mean if martial law is declared or an emergency state, then that's exactly what this is meant for.

Although when people insinuate they are going overthrow the government if Harry Reid gets elected just doesn't come off right.

Plus we can avoid the whole emergency state/martial law issue before hand if we can educate enough of the populace before hand.
