Most of us know all this about her already. She is not RP for sure but she is a long shot ahead of Reid.
So shes basically a run of the mill Republican?
Do you know her position on The U.S. Patriot Act?
#1 is definitely bad. But #s 2 and 4 could be bad, but are also pretty vague. I don't have a problem with saying you want to support Israel, depending on how you want to support them, and in what context.
#s 3 and 6 automatically make her better than a run of the mill Republican by themselves in my book, along with other good positions she holds.
Lesser of two evils - still evil.
Option 'C' none of the above.

Democrats can be expected to exploit several of Angle's stands as too extreme for mainstream or independent voters in the November ballot. Among them are her support for phasing out Social Security and Medicare; for repealing the 16th Amendment to the Constitution, which established the federal income tax; and for abolishing the federal Department of Education.
Correction: An earlier version of this post mischaracterized a June 29 TV appearance by Angle. She did not repeat her suggestion from earlier this year that Second Amendment supporters needed to "take Harry Reid out." Rather, as the Associated Press reported, she used the June 29 appearance to clarify: "I meant take him out of office. ... I changed my rhetoric." We regret the error.

Angle Was 'Undecided' On PATRIOT Act In '04
Finally a reason for liberals to love Sharron Angle?
In a 2004 candidate questionnaire, the Nevada Republican Senate hopeful indicated she was "undecided" on the Patriot Act, the post-9/11 law that expanded the power of police and the government and has long drawn the ire of civil libertarians, according to a copy of the questionnaire obtained by TPM.
Angle, a member of the state assembly up for reelection at the time, answered thirteen questions on the "Nevada Families Voter Guide," which is put out by the Nevada Families/Eagle Forum organization. One question reads:
"The US PATRIOT Act jeopardizes many of our civil liberties but does not make law-abiding citizens safer. Would you support/sponsor a resolution opposing the PATRIOT Act?"
The voter guide lists Angle's answer on the question as "U" for undecided. There is also an asterisk next to the U, indicating that Angle provided comments that could not fit in the guide. Janine Hansen, founder and publisher of the Nevada Families Voter Guide, tells TPM that the records with Angle's expanded comments are "no longer available" because Hansen moved in 2004.
Angle's campaign did not respond to a request for comment on her position on the Patriot Act. Whatever Angle's current position, she has not emphasized civil liberties in her campaign. Neither the current nor primary-season version of her campaign website mentions the Patriot Act or civil liberties.
Perhaps we should not be surprised that Angle is not a full-blown supporter of the Patriot Act. The Independent American Party of Nevada, of which Angle was a member in the 1990s, currently has a platform plank declaring that the law "clearly violate[s] fundamental privacy rights afforded by the constitution and must be repealed."
Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), for his part, voted for the Patriot Act in 2001 and for the Patriot Act reauthorization in 2006.
Also on the 2004 questionnaire: Angle said she supported making campaign spending reports "100% voluntary."
She also answered yes on this question:
"The federal government controls 89% of Nevada's land. Do you support the recovery of Nevada's sovereignty and jurisdiction over the lands within Nevada's borders including Yucca Mountain?"
The questionnaire was provided to TPM by Lee Plotkin, who in 2004 was writing political commentary for the Las Vegas Bugle newspaper.

She's against the War on Drugs?! That automatically makes her better than Reid in my book.
7. She will pay for a doctor's visit with a chicken.
"..and on Earth anguish of nations, not knowing the way out...while men become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited Earth." -- Jesus of Nazareth
This is new information to me as well! I understand and respect the "lesser than two evils argument", but we're talking about a republican that is against bailouts, the IRS, the UN, and the War on Drugs. Angle may not be Ron Paul, but she's better than just about every senator we have right now.
Yeah she is all talk right now though. She has no record like RP to back her up.
And if she continues our Empire then yes she is just run of the mill.
She's for Free Markets and against government spending and socialism (which is used to buy votes anyway)
She also spent her own money upholding and defending the Nevada State constitution that the transplanted liberal democrats from outta state around Vegas that wanted to shred it.
Monday's July 19th on FOX BUSINESS' "Americas Nightly Scoreboard" Sharon Angle and Michele Bachman will be on. 7PM EST /4PM PST, tune in if you want to hear her.
REID leads ANGLE 44% - 37% 10% undecided

RP can lecture her.
Don't taze me bro. Don't touch my junk. Don't tread on me.
Maybe you need a friend not into politics... http://saveadogrescue.com/ http://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelter_id=TX1472
Didn't know she was against the war on drugs. I find that strange since she supports prohibition. But okay...
Of course she is all talk now. That is all we have to go by and RP can't hold every position in congress
It looks like your attempt to flame her has backfired. You picked out all the bad position she holds and tried to give people on here a dishonest impression. She is right up there with Schiff and Rand.
Reid on Co are bombarding the airwaves with commercials bordering on slander. then they come in with a positive commercial on Reid...... EVERY COMMERCIAL BREAK.....OVER AND OVER....ugg its going to be a long summer Reid has tons of cash and no ethics

She is raising a hell of lot of money though. I think she took 2.6 million in this last quarter. She will need a lot to compete with the Reid machine who has something like 6 or 7 million on hand and the capability of raising a lot more.
I think it would be great just get rid of Reid.

she also wants to phase out social security.

What's the point of this? Are you trying to dig up dirt? She is a huge ally.
She is better than Reid, and she is against HC legislation and for reducing government and is serious about it. I mean I love how people complain nothing ever changes but when they have a chance to see a SENATOR get in who will really cut government size and scope they don't support the enough.
Reid will not reduce government, he will increase it. He pushed through that monstrous HC Bill, just pushed through a fascist financial bill...what does it take for people to wake up? How much freedom do we have to lose from these clowns until we figure out elect people who will REDUCE government.
For gods sake if Angle win then the next time she is running challenge her in the primaries if you have a even better candidate. But seeing as we have a government filled with vile vermin why go after those who are a VAST improvement?
