    Help. Wisconsin state assembly

What is the best way to promote a local RP type candidate for State Assembly on the net? The election is in Appleton Wisconsin.

Any ideas, tips, links, cautions? Hoping to get some insight.

Currently have a basic website up for him and we are working on facebook stuff and maybe a video.

    Thanks,
    FTR

Good luck! Glad to see someone in WI found help. garner your party's support and go door to door in your district with as many people as possible to explain your candidate's stance. If you were able to hit every door in the district (face-to-face canvass), you could nearly guarantee a win.

Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

Thanks GunnyFreedom. This guy is real good with door to door. He really doesn't like working with the internet stuff. So Hopefully we'll have enough good people to do the door to door. And us geeks can take care of the internet stuff.

Meet people, meet people, meet people, whether at a farmer's market, a cafe, or a Little League ballfield. Never let technology superscede human contact when it comes to winning votes.

Thanks. I'm starting to get the idea here. ... Hopefully

Here's my breakdown, tell me what you think.

    90% meeting face to face.
    5% handouts, signs
    5% internet website

Obviously they are over lapping but as to there significance.

talk to people. make a goal of talking to everyone in your district. their is more to campaigning than just talking to people. an assembly seat shouldn't cost too much money.

i would suggest reading books on local campaigns. you can do a precinct analysis. you don't want to upset the competition(dems) and rile them up to vote.

You can do fundraisers to get some money. there a million ways to do this. You can get endorsements from local leaders. Be creative, get some signs, go door to door, call people asking them to vote, go to meetings of the local Republican groups and speak, go to C4L group, get volunteers to help. good luck
