Anyone remember the ambulance that was pulled over enroute to the hospital in okla. last year? State boy was upset that the ambulance didn't realize the patrol car had right of way regardless it being an emergency.

I read the story and believe they are either making up the knife part or if not, then they could have just done what the woman told them to do and left her home. She was on her own property and thus should have been able to legally tell them to get the heck out of there. I don't believe the police have a leg to stand on when it comes to the court case. But then again, it may depend on if the police and the judge are in bed together.
The reason they demand the psych ward is to make you an incompetent witness. I had a social services worker try to do the same thing to me...

Regardless, you cannot take any chances with an arthritically crippled bedridden senior citizen.
I been saying nurse aids have needed guns to protect themselves from elderly residents for years!
