A whole lot of food places are hiring, as are grocery stores. People want to work at whatever they went to school for, and not some job they feel is "below" them. There is not a single big city you can look up, even online (where you will not find these "crappy" jobs), which has zero job opportunities.
There are also telemarketing and customer service jobs *all* the time. People are not lining up for those. They want to do exactly what they were doing when the economy was better. If you can't adapt, you starve... or, in the case of the USA, you go on "assistance."
Genuine, willful, aggressive ignorance is the one sure way to tick me off. I wish I could say you were trolling. I know better, and it's just sad.

Oof... any number of ways.
If they're breaded, you can bread them just before cooking them, which means it doesn't really adhere. You can underseason the meat. If they're fried AND breaded, your oil might not be hot enough, which means the breading will soak it up like a sponge. Your oil might also be dirty, which means that taste will be featured in your wings. You might undercook the meat, but that goes without saying. You might drop too many wings in to fry at the same time, which means they steam rather than fry, which means soggy/uncrisp wings. If they're not breaded, you might overcook them, which gives them an awful taste. You might also sauce them too late (I like to sauce early, then broil towards the end so the sugar in the sauce gets gooey for BBQ wings).
The one Hooters' wings experience I had was not satisfactory. The breading was soggy, which could have happened due to any of the aforementioned, and the seasoning was utterly lacking.

I used to visit a friend of mine when she worked at Hooters. I agree, the food is not great. I used to feel sorry for her though because they require you to wear thick nude nylons under the short shorts..blech, looked uncomfortable.
Hooters has disgusting food. And the reason they have such a hard time getting hot girls is simple economics. All other things being equal female waitresses have an advantage when it comes to getting hired in the restaurant business (as do hot guys). Hooters isn't a particularly good waitress job. So to the extent they can get hot girls, it is usually girls who have never waitressed before or who were simply too stupid or had some other defect which kept them from getting hired someplace better despite their good looks. And once those hot girls they hired get some experience, they'll be looking to use Hooters as a springboard to a better job. So Hooters has a tough time getting hot girls in the first place they bleed the hot girls they do quicker than usual restaurant turnover. The one thing they could do to make the situation better is to improve the food, but Hooters has shown no inclination of aspiring to be anything other than one step above Burger King in terms of quality (and a lot greasier!).
In my experience, Pizza Hut has the best hot wings out of all the fast food places.

Have you been to Hooters lately? Low quality. Mostly 4's, 5's and 6's (where 5=average).
With porn and strip clubs going mainstream in America, Hooters has struggled to recruit good talent.

Some days the food the is great and somedays it sucks. Just like some days the waitresses are good looking and other days they aren't.
Now i havent done a scientific study on the days in which the food is good compared to the waitress or anything like that but i would bet the cook in the back has his mind on some other things than cooking food on some nights.

Cafe Risque in Micanopy, Florida was damn horrible. Not only did the overpriced burger suck but they charge a cover to get in. Yes you see some tits but id take Hooters over that place any day of the week.
Lap dances will cost you a trip to the ATM as well. I have nothing against lap dances (ive had my fair share) but the gals in Cafe Risque were not my type. Plus i was still pissed about the burger.

Real sales people don't use a phone and prowl for victims as "conversions." Real salespeople actually form relationships with their customers, and visit them in person.
