Great thread! The majority of the masses will likely vote Republican in the fall. It's up to us to influence the primaries to make sure they're GOOD republicans.

.... in his heart, and in his head, in his character, and in his intellect, in what he has done, and in what he will become, the Thomas Jefferson of our day, Ron Paul is one of us.

Why does Art Olivier sound familiar?

South Carolina has had a lot of division over Nikki Haley. Some like her, some don't.

I emailed Joe back in the day suggesting he come here and make a plea for support since RPF's can act as a huge catalyst for campaigns. He said he didn't want to make any associations at that time.

IMO Gene isn't going down this year anyway.

LibertySlate 2010 is an online resource to direct grassroots Tea Party activists, constitutionalists, libertarians, and conservatives to Republican candidates for Congress in 2010. The candidates we promote and rank share our dedication to the Constitutional principles of limited government, individual liberty, and personal responsibility. We list, rank, and review the candidate so you can choose to support the candidate in your state, the candidate that agrees with you on key issues, or the candidate who has the best chance to win.

If you have any other candidates to add, let me know. Also, feel free to turn this thread into an impromptu "donation" thread to these candidates....that might be the best thing we could do for them (especially since most of us don't live in the districts/areas where these candidates are running).

Being from Alabama, I'm not sure I'd be very excited to support Roy Moore.

His issues page read very well and I support 100% the majority of the issues he's listed (all of which are quite a problem in AL).

However, he completely loses me when he includes "Morality" as an "Issue" for the government to address. I'm always very skeptical of a candidate implying we should "legislate" morality. I've seen first hand (via family courts) the abuses suffered at the hands of those who use government to dictate others' lives.

Let's just say I'm very "cautiously" optimistic about voting for Roy Moore because of the "law of unintended consequences". For me it will boil down to weighing "Morality" against his other issues, which, as stated, are quite important to me. I'll have to decide if I can trust him to avoid "over-crusading" about morality.
We have two major parties [in America], the stupid party and the evil party. Every once in a while they manage to work together and we call it "bipartisanship".

NM3 in "The Land of Enchantment" is a monster district. We literally have precincts the size of Rhode Island... It is us vs. the machine and a hell of a battle. Our mailers are just starting to hit, TV ads are starting Tues, we are manning early voting places, door knocking in the evenings, etc.. We are strategically sign planting in the hinterlands where door knocking is out of the question, phone banking, and grassroots supporters have been busy with self created radio ads and signage.

    A hell of a battle.

Many voters are up on the gov race and not so much the congressional. Our push right now is where we can win. We can use more people on http://callforkokesh.com (where we are running three different scripts,) and of course, donations will help offset fuel costs to buy more ads...

    Mike Simpson 53.9%
    Chick Heileson 29.6%

(7.6% reporting) - doesn't look great early, but pulling 30% from an incumbent is no small potatoes (sorry for the bad Idaho pun).
