Here's a couple of random thoughts I have on this matchup:
1. The vaunted Paul ground game - Energy abounds everywhere you look. The Paul campaign will not be outhustled in promoting Rand Paul and his refreshing message.
2. the Louisville effect - Louisville isn't highly thought of throughout the state? Conway could very well be too slick, in that he alienates the voters of Kentucky who believe that there is intelligent life outside the greater Louisville area.
3. Conway's effect on women voters - He has the outward package and superficial flair to attract women voters. He also appears to be willing to make calculated emotive pleas to women's issues, whether it's education, health care and the like.
4. Conway's umbillcal cord to the Obama Administration - I simply don't know how Jack can separate himself from an organization that is absolutely loathed in Kentucky, no matter how deftly he speaks. It's a yoke around his neck no matter how you look at it.
