Just thought folks here might want to know that Thomas Massie, a very, very impressive guy, who has been a huge Rand Paul supporter and a RPF denizen, appears to have won the Republican nomination for Judge Executive (known as County Executive in other states) in Lewis County Kentucky.
This is the sort of grassroots leadership building our movement needs to do. Thomas has put a tremendous amount of energy into his campaign and Rand's. he helped Rand carry Lewis county by 66-27%.
Lewis County is overwhelmingly Republican and while I don't want to jinx Thomas, it would seem very likely that Thomas will win this office in November.
