This is one of the greatest days in American history

It hasn't really sunk in. I can't believe i'm living in 1776. It is the type situation where you are having this dream and you wake up disappointed but I'm not going to wake up disappointed.

I agree. It doesn't even feel real yet. I can't believe this is happening.

Best day for liberty in a very long time.

This means nothing. Enjoy it, but realize nothing has been won yet.
Libertarians - trying to improve the world through ideas and free markets rather than legislation and prisons.

No, this means quite a lot. The GOP establishment threw everything they had at Rand, and he still won by well over 20 points. People are beginning to see through the "Big Government Republican" hypocrisy. That is absolutely massive.

Now, it doesn't mean Ron will be the nominee in 2012, and it doesn't mean Rand is a shoo-in for November. You're right about that. But to say it means nothing is simply false.

    Bit of an exaggeration

Good call, Bman. Now we have to redirect attention to the general election. But it is definitely a big step ideologically. People are not settling for the trash that has been thrown their way. The entire establishment was for Rand's opponent and Rand still conquered quite mightily. I still say this is quite an awesome day. I am PUMPED!
Washington doesn't change Rand Paul. Rand Paul changes Washington.

Libertarianism is officially mainstream and is in charge of the GOP. Now we have a real choice between small government or big government. It is a choice we have not had throughought most of the 20th century.

Even if Rand loses the General this is HUGE! Going to be excellent coverage for the Pauls. Rand is being talked about all over the MSM. I've seen Ron be called the father of the Tea Party and the most visible & influential rebublican coming out of the 2008 Gop race. MSNBC even seems to be giving credibility and almost excitement to the Tea Party. I'm Giddy, I picked up some Chamagne. This is a good night.

Win or Loose, Rand is building a HUGE organization in KY now.

He'll be able to tap into the machine he's building to help Ron Paul in 2012.

No, it is ESSENTIAL for Rand to win

If Rand loses, media pundits and GOP leaders will say that libertarians/Constitutional Conservatives CANNOT WIN ELECTIONS, which will then be used to discredit any future freedom candidates

    RAND MUST WIN

If he loses, we failed Ron and ourselves, and all that we worked for during the past 4 years was a waste of money and time

Ron's numbers in Kentucky are still in single digits: http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/p...ase_KY_516.pdf

If Rand loses in November, this movement is still screwed big time. Losing is not an option.

Well, he needs to be our top funding priority then.
