They're fast, they pack their shipment securely, and best of all, they're very discreet. They even (or at least they have been) giving a discount on their shipping costs if you pay in some form of cash (check, wire, money order, etc).
If you buy locally, will you be able to maintain anonymity, or will you eventually be known as "that guy who has been buying all that silver bullion" if your local supplier blabs?
Call me paranoid, but if I had several thousand bucks of silver bullion stashed, I wouldn't want ANYONE in my neighborhood to know about it.
