Default Malkin: Johnny-come-lately McCain: the sickly smell of desperation

I will never forget the morning of the California primary in 2008. I had been stumping for Ron Paul and there on the radio was John McCain flip-flopping on his position on the border. McCain disgusted me then and he still disgusts me.

Malkin has some writeups on McCain and the Arizona boycott.

    Johnny Come Lately McCain

John S. McCain, will you please go now?

    STAND WITH ARIZONA

By the way, I had to cancel my vacation to Europe this summer, but we were thinking of taking a long weekend off to do something. And then I thought - ARIZONA, yeah! Let's do a little vacation in Arizona! A good way for So Cal Tea Partiers to show support for what Arizona is doing.

"The argument that the two parties represent opposed ideals and policies, one of the Right and the other of the left, is a foolish idea. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can 'throw the rascals out' at any election without leading to any profound shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will still pursue the same policies."
