How to start new topics, post news articles & videos

For your own original topics:

Step 1: Choose the correct sub-forum to post in.

+ Please read each sub-forum name and description to determine which is the best fit.

Step 2: Choose a title
+ Names such as "Check this out" are frowned upon and subject to being changed.

For others news articles & videos:

To reduce the chance of duplicate news stories / videos being posted and assure items are placed in the correct sub-forum the following guidelines have been established:

Step 1. Check to see if the article or video have already been posted.
+ Use the search function to help determine this: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/search.php Search for the key words in the title name or a subsection of the web page address.
For YouTube videos do a search for the video ID, such as B9q2jNjOPdk for the video above.

+ Quickly check the correct sub-forum titles for the article (see next steps).


Step 2: Choose the correct sub-forum to post in.

Be familiar with the forum structure, find what is a best-fit.


Step 3: Choose a title

+ Attempt to include both the news source and the original title of the piece. For videos use either the title of the video or the new cast show and the date of the show.


Step 4: Compose

+ Include both a link to the original piece and only as much text as reasonable within fair use laws for educational purposes.
+ Add personal commentary as seen fit but assure your words are clearly separated.

First do the search, in this case some good options would be "239871", "thenation" or "MOMENTUM". Note: search keywords must be at least four characters.

In this case, we can see it was posted already by Bradley in DC.
