I took this with my old handheld flip camera so it is not the best quality. There were plenty of cameras so I'm sure a better video will come out eventually.

Yeah, it was pretty good. It wasn't one of his best/most fiery speeches IMO but then again he only had about 10 minutes. Also I've heard it all many times before so maybe it comes across different to someone hearing it for the first time.Originally Posted by TheBlackPeterSchiff
I did see maybe a dozen Schiff signs in the crowd while walking around, being held up by a mix of both younger and older people. There was one guy wearing a Linda McMahon shirt (there were no other McMahon signs or supporters from what I could tell) and I saw/heard no reference to Simmons whatsoever.

how many people were at these? The article I found said there were 1,200 in hartford but it looks smaller in the video of Schiff speaking.
That sounds about right. I couldn't get a good shot of the crowd from my vantage point. It was a decent number considering it is probably difficult for most people to make it out on a weekday afternoon; I had to take half a day off from work.

Good. I really think the Tea-parties will be crucial. He needs to speak at them every time he has a chance.
