Utah Governor takes federal land with eminent domain

I love this. I am really hoping this is a sign that more state politicians are waking up.

"Governor, if I had foreseen the use those people
designed to make of their victory,
there would have been no surrender at
Appomattox Courthouse; no sir, not by me.
Had I foreseen these results of subjugation,
I would have preferred to die at Appomattox
with my brave men, my sword in my right hand." - Robert E. Lee to Governor Fletcher S. Stockdale (D-Texas), 1870

I remember that highly controversial move by Clinton

I wish all states would do this to all federal land.
The federal government shouldn't "own" anything.

And then the counties would do it to state land.

And sell it, using the proceeds to fund the decommissioning of the government, and cut property taxes to zero.

Haha. You know I used to wonder. What if State's taxed 100% of our income? Which government entity has more of a right to my income? The state or the Fed's.

Same kind of question with eminent domain. Ultimately one power must be subservient to the other.

Anyway, I know no one really has a right to my income, but you get the point.

Socialist Utopia is the government controls everything.
Anarchist Utopia is the market controls everything.
Ron Paul Utopia is where public servants actually honor their oath of office.
