Kentucky GOP Senate candidate Rand Paul is holding another online "money bomb" fundraiser today and he'd already raised $100,000 in donations as of 11 a.m.
That total puts Paul, the son of libertarian champion Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), at nearly $400,000 raised during the 1st quarter with one week to go before the fundraising deadline.
Tuesday's "Give Me Liberty" money bomb event was scheduled on the 235th anniversary of Patrick Henry's "Give me liberty or give me death" speech
Paul's Internet-based money bomb events have become the fundraising bedrock of his primary campaign against Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson (R).
Paul netted about $170,000 from a money bomb event in December, $190,000 from another in September and more than $430,000 from a money bomb in August.
