RP " raised the roof" & " didn't just beat Mitt Romney - he slaughtered him."

    Coverage in the U.K. . . .

"CPAC's straw poll measures intensity of conservative activist support for a candidate –
and this year Ron Paul raised the roof"

Thanks dude, and thanks for strengthening our international coalition for liberty!
if modern agriculture continues to follow the path it's on now, it's finished. The food-growing situation may seem to be in good shape today, but that's just an illusion based on the current availability of petroleum fuels. All the wheat, corn, and other crops that are produced on big American farms may be alive and growing, but they're not products of real nature or real agriculture. They're manufactured rather than grown. The earth isn't producing those things.. petroleum is! -Masanobu Fukuoka

And some nice coverage in the U.S. -

The winner of this year's CPAC straw poll is . . . Texas Congressman Ron Paul.

    Mika : "I love him . . . joining us now . . . Republican Congressman - from Texas . . ."

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036789/...37667#35537667

RP : ". . . when I go to the campuses I come away very encouraged,
when I go to 'the Hill' I figure what are they gonna do - they won't admit anything is wrong."

    RP : ". . . just adding regulations - won't compensate for bad investment . . . that won't work . . .
the bills that I see going through Congress right now won't solve those problems."

    Joe : "you called it right . . . in 2003 !"
RP : "Well, just trying to understand economics from an Austrian free market perspective . . .
    . . . it isn't me that makes these predictions . . . good Austrian economists . . . they taught us this - it's available,
and the young people especially are responding to this and are starting to study this school of thought."

Good for him, but is he ever going to raise the issue of 9/11 ?

Till then he's a controlled opposition to me.

    Ronald "controlled" Paul.

Well, you go run a candidate on your singular wedge issue of 9/11. Good luck there.

a Rudy "CEO of 911" Giuliani supporter ?

CNN contributor Roland Martin says we need to understand history and how it impacts what is happening today.
And my suggestion is some of the Congressman's House floor comments on foreign policy . . .

So instead of just regurgitating some of Giuliani's campaign distortions . . .
see Martin: Paul's 9/11 explanation deserves to be debated
Ron Paul . . . "was trying to offer some perspective on the pitfalls of an interventionist policy
by the American government in the affairs of the Middle East and other countries."

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/05/18/martin/index.html

Ron Paul - as Pat Buchanan has aptly referred to him in the media recently -
may be revitalizing the "anti-Wilsonian" conservatives of the GOP -
as was Taft in the 1950's.

And at least the Iowa straw poll and caucus voters could see right through Giuliani's distortions -
with Rudy's campaign getting exactly where it deserved to be in time for the big Florida primary -
    . . . in the toilet.

I think theclip is controlled opposition.
"Anarchists oppose the State because it has its very being in such aggression, namely, the expropriation of private property through taxation, the coercive exclusion of other providers of defense service from its territory, and all of the other depredations and coercions that are built upon these twin foci of invasions of individual rights." -Murray Rothbard
