Dutch government collapse: Will other European troops now leave Afghanistan?

The collapse of the Dutch government Saturday shows how unpopular the war in Afghanistan is in Europe. Will other European nations pull their troops out of Afghanistan earlier than planned?

Since no one has posted the actual text of an article about this, I emailed someone I know in the Netherlands and asked about it, and expressed my hopes that him and his family were alright. Here's his response:

"It is not that big of a deal. Our governments are always coalitions since we don't have a 2 party system. The last government had 2 Christian Democratic parties and the Labour party and they could not agree on if the Dutch army was to stay in Afghanistan or not. Labour wanted out no matter what and both other parties wanted to have the option to stay and finish the job. So in response the Labour ministers quit and now we will have new elections in 3 months, so a new government can be formed which is supported by a majority in both chambers of parliament. It's basically a lot of political BS since people on the streets are more worried about the economy and not so much about Afghanistan... And I have a feeling Labour waited until now to make this a big issue since there are local elections in 2 weeks and they were lagging in the polls. The last 3 governments all collapsed before their 4 years were up due various disagreements so it is not a big deal really. All these governments had one constant and that is prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende. The guy is a tool and a bad leader. Until the general election, we will probably have a caretaker government that takes care of business."
