I love this. As for Steele..
Looks like Michael Steele isn't a dummy after all. We'll see how much integrity he has after all though... If he plays it off, he's a poser. Wait for the stab in the back cause it's coming.
Paul won the straw poll with 30% of the vote. Despite Huckabee's elitism. The GOP can't afford to continue to berate and ignore the paleo wing of the party. I mean, look how that worked out for them last time.

ANd of course Steele was just pandering. Still cool to see though.
"No matter how noble you try to make it, your good intentions will not compensate for the mistakes that people make; that want to run our lives and run the economy, and reject the principles of private property and making up our own decisions for ourselves." - Ron Paul

How come no one has mentioned the most important part of this video?
Steele walks up to someone and says, "Is he in? Is he in or what?" Referring to Dr Paul.

It is those choice words that show that Steele understands who the next nominee needs to be...

Michael Steele has done nothing to deserve any credit for promoting liberty, or anything to gain any respect from any libertarian. Give him half a decade of Ron Paul consistency, and I'll trust him. I am not surprised he would reach out to libertarians though, the ideological trend is undeniable. Some will see it before others.

I recall a republican debate in 2007, and/or commentary directly afterward, where he was pretty disrespectful of Paul and laughing it up with all the other Fox News tools. He deserves as much trust as Hannity.

I will believe Steele once I see actions and not just rhetoric.. But too, be reminded that for most of the people 90%.... that liberty is a new idea.. its a learning process.. no matter if people are politicians.. they are ignorant.. and the new ideas feel foreign when first heard... the clothes of liberty are uncomfortable.. but over time thru constant exposure they begin to wear easily like a pair of well worn jeans.

have faith that people are coming around... dont rely of people you dont trust.. but have faith that they are seeing the light.
