It does not matter how many Dem's support him, IF he does not get the primary vote and nod tot be the Republican candidate.

Ron himself said it best on Bill Maher and several other venues. He is running for the American people, not the party. But he still needs the party blessing to go anywhere.

I think if he does get on the ticket, he will get lots of Democrats voting for him, but first things first.
