FoxNews has best ratings in their history

Not that surprising to be honest. People love to complain - you always do better when "their guy" is in charge. I imagine Rush's ratings would be up as well.

Beck particularly enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence on the national stage in 2009, partially by establishing himself as a bit of a political organizer of the "Tea Party" movement. An increasingly polarizing figure, a recent Gallup poll placed Beck fourth among the most admired men by Americans, trailing only President Obama, former President George W. Bush and South African leader Nelson Mandela. Media Matters, however, recently bestowed Beck with the dubious distinction of being 2009's "Misinformer of the Year."
Amazing that Beck was so high. We really should be able to get Ron Paul on that list.

Fox News has a monopoly on 'Conservative' news. If MSNBC was smart they would hire some Conservative/Libertarian talent to replace some of the Obama maniacs.

Ah yes, Media Matters. I think we are doomed if those are the four most admired. Two Marxists, one Fascist, and....one that is at best dubious of intentions.

What, sir, is the use of a militia? It is to prevent the establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty.

Ratings without ad revenues mean little, like you have Glenn Beck running top ratings with almost no commercial breaks. There were some concerns athat newscorp might go bankrupt or end up in serious financial trouble just few months ago, their credibility and eranings took a major hit in months after Iraq war. Hopefully they will survive now with help from Obama.

I'm pretty sure FoxNews is profitable. They own a bunch of other stuff too - that's where they're losing money.

They've done a better job reporting the issues from the prospective of the common middle class person than the other MSM conglomerates. They have credibility and represent the majority view on MANY of the non-important issues. That's how they are sucking in viewers to their Neocon agenda. They expose Obama for the communist he is, they report on the robbing of the middle class and their stance on illegal immigration resonates with the public. They pick up viewers through their stance on hot button issues like gay-activism and abortion. That's why they are popular.

Unfortunately, they are so neo-con in their foreign policy I think of Fox News as "The War Channel". They are always shilling for our young men to go and die in wars against Arab countries that are enemies of Israel. They want to carpet bomb Iran, Yemen and probably every other country in the middle east with the exception Israeli if they could. They are too politically correct and enforce the two-party system also. They are guilty of other crimes against liberty also. Rupert Murdoch is the boss. That can't be a good thing.

A lot of potential patriots fall victim to their trap. Because of this they do MORE damage to liberty that the other MSM because they have credibilty on SOME of the issues. So many times I meet a person who believes in liberty and starts spouting how much they like Mark Levin. I usually just laugh out loud and they don't know why.
