    Question Christians United for Israel

Fallout from Alaskan politician Palin's recent pro racism comments continues. All this at a time when we have troops and tax payers giving their blood and treasure to spread democratic freedoms and racial equality in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan and other parts of the world:

Felsen says Palin’s “declaration that Jews will flock to Israel ‘in the days and weeks and months ahead’—plainly at odds with statistical trends—has an eerily familiar ring.”

"In fact, it’s entirely consistent with the belief of “Christian Zionists” that a mass ingathering of Jews to Israel is the necessary prerequisite to the battle of good against evil at Armageddon and the Second Coming of Christ," he writes. "As Pastor John Hagee, founder of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) puts it, 'We are racing to the end of time,' and more Jews (who, Christian Zionists believe, will either convert or face perdition) in all of historic Palestine are a key ingredient to fulfillment of that Biblical prophecy."

Is Palin's and CUFI's way the best way to support freedom and equlity abroad?

To be fair, apart from racism angle, there may be a religious extremism angle also to this radical phenomenon:

    Here's the truth:

The Great Commission of the Church is “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19). We are not called to determine the time and method for the fulfillment of prophecy. Nor are we called to human attempts in fulfilling ‘Revelation’ prophecy as a means of ushering in the return of Christ. God in His divine providence will fulfill all prophetic events in His time, in His way, and in His will. As believers we need not concern ourselves with such details. Instead, we are called to fervently undertake our mission to win the lost, making the most of every opportunity in the short window of time before His return

May have God mercy on her, this looks almost as bad as supporting slavery.

If you have it handy, I'd like to see the source please, because I've seen instances of a lot of things being claimed that she has said, when in fact she had not.

I don't much like the woman either, but I want to hold her accountable for what she's really done; not, what she has not.

    Judeo-Christian civilization is a hoax.

In history Jews were boycotted from Christian countries only because of the bible...until the protestant church came in...and separation of Church from state affairs happened. What you see today as WoT is separation of mosque from state.

Apart from her views in advocacy of violent racism and extremism and her lacking mental abilities, I think she looks attractive.

WALTERS: The Obama administration does not want Israel to build any more settlements on what they consider Palestinian territory. What is your view on this?

PALIN: I disagree with the Obama administration on that. I believe that the Jewish settlements should be allowed to be expanded upon, because that population of Israel is, is going to grow. More and more Jewish people will be flocking to Israel in the days and weeks and months ahead. And I don’t think that the Obama administration has any right to tell Israel that the Jewish settlements cannot expand.

WALTERS: Even if it’s [in] Palestinian areas?

PALIN: I believe that the Jewish settlements should be allowed to be expand.

If Walters had a working brain, she should have asked her why she did not see arabs and jews as equals since they are equal in the eyes of God, none more chosen than the other even by an iota.

One of current Superme Court Justices recently said in her interview that she used to see "Jews and Dogs not allowed" signs when travelling in American South with her parents. I find it had to believe that there were such signs so close to Bible belt, this CUFI phenomenon is quite puzzling.

ahm!! well!! not sure about that..and I don't think that info being observations of only one individual holds much weight in an analysis.

Maybe a white 'supremacist' (...BUT NEVER A CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALIST/SUPREMACIST ETC )
    See the patch???

Yea it is one individual, but when sitting US Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg makes a claim like this, you can't ignore it either.
