Is this deadline being publicized in your newspapers, etc? In other words, is the message getting out?

I haven't seen hide nor hair of it. I'm beginning to wonder though, how many Dems would cross over.
A call of Democrats could be useful, but I wonder how useful. NH is independent-heavy - that's who you generally need to get the nomination of either party.

Hi. Thanks for the feedback. If you live in New Hampshire, would you please edit your profile to put your state in there? See where mine shows up in the upper right hand corner of my post? That way, we will all know who is from where. That's really important as we approach these first primaries.
Thanks.
I've heard up to 12% of Ron Paul supporters are Dems, I'm one of the 12% and I'd say there are plenty people I know that are scrambling right now to register. Also NY you HAVE to be Republican to vote, no third party is allowed. This is information I can't believe hasn't made the news but then again the MSM is always slow on reporting things of real content.

The figure is somewhere between 8 and 15% of us right now are registered democrats, add an ever growing disenfranchised base who left the party in spirit but not in paper, and your looking at 20% or more. this is not opinion this is fact. There have been several polls that breakdown our demographics, and they are all about the same.
Well, the first that most of us heard of this was in the Boston Globe (or the online equivalent, boston.com). So I guess that sort of counts as a local media source. I don't pay attention to the newspapers or local TV news stations though. News 2.0 is all on the internet.![]()
Still, it's a good point. I hope that at the very least, the Ron Paul-leaning voters who just so happen to be registered Democrats will see notice of the Oct 12 deadline in the local papers and TV news. I'm not sure how many of those voters there are, but every little bit helps.
Yeah, I guess I shouldn't discount them. I've just been put out by my more liberal friends who won't get behind Ron because they think that Hillary is going to end the war. How many times does she have to tell them that she won't? -sigh-
And I changed my profile - I never add anything to any profile so consider this forum blessed. LOL.

I wonder if there is any basis for any group in the state to file a lawsuit, at least temporarily halting the deadline?
Any lawyers out there?
