I'm sure most are familiar with finance guru Dave Ramsey. Usually he just gives common sense advice. Today he read a long letter from a family care doctor who is giving up his practice due to overwhelming federal regulation which is only going to get worse with universal health-care. Dave went on to point out that the so called health-care "crisis" really has nothing to do with the problems in the economy and that has more to do with the debt run up by the republicans and that's being run up higher by the democrats. I know I'm not doing this justice, but the archive isn't posted on the web yet and I wanted to get this out early. What excites me about this is that Dave's heretofore political neutrality means he can penetrate places that other people can't. Many African American churches, for instance, do "financial peace" seminars. Dave has also consistently supported the idea of health savings accounts, private health insurance and the fact that health-care is cheaper if you pay for it with cash. Interesting development.
