Remember Kelo v the City of New London?

The one where SCOTUS decided we don't actually have property rights, either?

The town where Pfizer built a $300 million dollar R&D facility and helped the city condemn the other property in the area in order to "rejunvenate" (raise more tax money from) the area?

Now, guess which R&D facility is closing. http://lawprofessors.typepad.com/lan...-facility.html

get ready for an even bigger surprise!

oh, not only that: they never built anything on Kelo's property anyway!
they only razed the buildings and let the weeds grow.

    ---

On a serious note, good to see one of the worst rulings in recent SC history looking even worse as it ages.
Truth forever on the scaffold, Wrong forever on the throne,--
Yet that scaffold sways the future, and, behind the dim unknown,
Standeth God within the shadow, keeping watch above his own.
