There is no reason to force people to use a specific commodity to trade.

Are you going to force some people using silver to trade down in South America to use your "one world" gold currency? Probably not, at least I doubt you would. If you were a banker you'd probably try to force people to use specific currencies if your banker friends want to help manipulate it.

The bottom line is that gold has real value, and this has been proven throughout history.. When a government begins to manipulate the currency and determine it's value in society, that is what we need to fight. As long as the free market is deciding the value of gold, we are protecting private property rights and protecting against fraud, theft and injury, things should be ok.

At one time, gold was pretty much the one world currency. But there was also silver and other things being used as barter. A currency is nothing more than the same thing but with the stamp of the state on it.
