Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he once say that kids who disobey their parents should be stoned to death?
That's part of the Old Testament law, although like North says in his book Tools of Dominion --- see http://www.garynorth.com/freebooks/d...gntd/gntd.html --- it's referring to adult children (i.e., adults who still live under their parents' authority) who are "incorrigible," as North says.
North is a Christian Reconstructionist, meaning that he envisions a society where Biblical law is applied by the government. However, as has been pointed out by various reconstructionist thinkers --- for example, see http://www.americanvision.org/ (I believe someone made this point on Gary DeMar's radio show) --- the achievement of this is not by Christians taking power in government and imposing it on an unwilling populace. Reconstructionists generally plan to achieve this only once the people themselves turn to God and voluntarily seek to live under such a system.
