Thumbs down Washington Post: Paul's "End the Fed" a "meandering diatribe"

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...091101837.html

Paul's constitutionalist prescriptions to end the "welfare-warfare" state -- which include "letting everyone get into the business of the production of money," Colonial-style -- showcase a suspicion of moderate market intervention that even his ardent acolytes may not share. Remember, they burned $1 bills -- not $100 bills.

I'm not even sure that grade-school level writing even qualifies as a book review, and as some have mentioned, it is unlikely he read past the first few pages.

That is the long way of calling him a 'kook'. You're against interventionism? That's kooky.

    Brilliant.

Washington Post: Paul's "End the Fed" a "meandering diatribe"

WP isn't exactly an objective critic.

    David Rockefeller quote:

We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years......It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.

Rockefeller sucks and all, but there is no credible evidence that he ever said this.

Also, it's well-known that they covered up the WMD lie.

Sure does sound like something he would say though.

Eugene Meyer was CHAIRMAN of the FED before stepping down to buy the Washington Post. He passed it on to his daughter - Katherine Meyer Graham - and today, grandson Donald Graham runs it.

No surprise that the heirs of a former FED Chairman would attack "End the Fed"
