Judging by the Swedish state TV, America is a very poor place

I don't watch the Marxist TV here too often, but since I saw cats on, I figured I'd turn it on.. Turns out they're doing yet another coverage of poverty in the USA, people who have been forced to abandon their pets after becoming homeless.

A 2 minute clip about poverty from the state TV that never misses an opportunity to remind people about poor people in the hated USA. I'm still waiting for the day when they will report on the downsides of Swedish society.

The coverage of America on this TV the last few years can be summarized this way:

    Swedish society: Good
    American society: Bad
Obama: The saviour who will turn America good.

I'm kind of envious of this state TV in that it's got such a huge budget that it can send reporters everywhere to get the kind of stories it wants. There aren't that many TV companies in the world that have a $0.5 billion budget..

So are news media outlets in Sweden privately owned and state managed, are they fascist?
Because that is what I heard somewhere about Sweden, they grant private ownership but the government pretty much runs everything anyways. Is Sweden socialist or fascist? Not that there is much of a difference...

Sweden is good proof that Socialism and Fascism are very related terms, it can easily be said to be both.

Private ownership of media is allowed, but the state TV has a larger budget than all of the rest of the TV channels combined.

The government also pays out something called press support to political newspapers to keep them from failing.

I had to give up my cat because I've become a truck driver. That really sucked. My cat was a cool Maine Coon mix.

With the actions we have let our government get away with, can we really blame other countries for disliking our country? Seriously?
A savage barbaric tribal society where thugs parade the streets and illegally assault and murder innocent civilians, yeah that is the alternative to having police. Oh wait, that is the police

Wasn't that when the socialists began to take over? And, based on your handle, are you attempting to emigrate to the US?

The Social Democrats started taking over the country in the 1920's, but for the first few decades, it was a fairly sane movement that didn't attempt to make government too big. In the late 1960's, radicals took over and changed that, society was completely transformed in the 70's.. Government size exploded, prisons were turned into care facilities etc etc, it all started going to hell.

Yep, I'm trying to emigrate to the US, though I'm not in that great a position to do so since I'm quite poor. I'm mainly hoping to win some year in the diversity visa lottery.
