Aren't the repubs more socialist even there, as well as more smug in their job security? This may take demonstrations in Washington. Seriously.

I'll be looking for an Inhofe or Demint filibuster if it gets close in the Senate. I called Senator Mccaskill's office today and they said she wouldn't support it because of the high cost. So if one of Obama's top cheerleaders is going to support this I don't know how far it will go.

This thread gives me an idea for a another thread. How about a list of confirmed companies that will directly profit from the Cap and Trade scam? If Im going to be taxed even more then I might as well look into investing in these companies and trying to get my money back.

GE and BP are two big ones that will benefit i.e. grants for alternative energy experimentation and windmill/solar panel production contracts most likely.

Good luck with that. The globalists OWN the senate....Much of the house isn't bought off, they just aren't too bright but well meaning.....

The senate? That's a different story.

Glenn Beck has some great stuff about Cap & Trade in his book An Inconvenient Book. I think it was written back in 2007. Great information in there. I have a terrible memory so I can't name them off the top of my head, but go stuff. This segment was equally as interesting.

We can only hope some Senators will listen. If not, we are probably already screwed.

No, I'm sure he would have been intelligent enough to tell if the State would pass a bill that would further empower and enrich the State.

Apparently you lack the tiny intellect required to come to that elementary conclusion.

Mcklintock stole my line when he was on the floor today. He said cap'n trade would be our smoot-hawley. Made me both happy and sad.

@ thread title. Check out Goldman Sachs and dig deeper than Glenn Beck. Yes Al Gore will profit huge, but the carbon offset securities market is expected to be 3x's larger than entire Energy Futures market. This is going to make $150 oil seem like a good deal.
