Heard of the Rose Revolution? Orange Revolution? Now the Green Revolution in Iran??

George Soros backed and funded the CIA operations that helped what were referred to as the "color" revolutions in eastern Europe.

So is this "Green" movement in Iran the beginnings of a CIA op against Ahmenidinijad, that could be as simple as de-legitimizing his status as Democratically elected? Are these color revolutions another NWO code? It seems like these types of patterns often show up, it's almost as if they put in these codes so that the elite don't have to have weekly meetings to know what is going on.

“Mousavi is no idiot for sure (check out his resume here), and since he is not an idiot, he must know that he lost this election and that, in fact, Ahmadinejad won by an un-fakable landslide. Still, he choose the destablilize his own country at a moment when that country is facing a possible military agression from abroad. What does that tell you about Mousavi? It tells me that he is objectively the tool of yet another US backed destabilization campaign. It matters little whether Mousavi himself is a paid CIA agent, or whether his entourage is carefully using his ego to push him towards the kind of action he has taken now. The bottom line is still that Mousavi is now hurting his country and helping to destabilize it.

I don’t think that this Mousavi thing is going anywhere. Both the vast majority of Iranians and the entire power structure of the government will never let him destabilize the country. Sure, the Western press will constantly remind us that “Ahmadinejad stole the election”, but it’s not like Ahmadinejad was ever popular with the Zionist press corps, or like anybody in Iran really cares”
Rafsanjani, a mafios, backed Mousavi as did George Soros.

Also remember that you don't have to literally be a CIA asset to be a CIA asset. Anybody who helps the CIA is an asset to them, and will be protected as such.

They will run out of colours in a few years, thats for sure.
Seriously I think this version is more likely than the vote fraud story. It was that perfectly prepared with the use of modern communication, Mousavi claimed victory prematurely which was absolutely unnecessary in case he had won. In the other case he had to claim it, to build up the tumult. And all the twitterers were damn proud to get first hand news, no msm would cover
I don't know the truth but to talk about a bottom-up event is really silly.

Green is the color of the opposition party- like we have the red and blue here.

Mousavi is a piece of crap. He should be arrested for seditious behaviour then a full inquiry into who is funding him. I'm surprised he was even allowed to run, all candidates have to be pre-approved by the 'supreme leader'.

He was allowed to run because Iran is not as closed of a society as we are led to believe....

that's true, but Iran took a very big risk if this spills over into a civil war.

Yeah! How dare anyone challenge Ahmadinejad!

Why are you so concerned? Good on them if the Iranian government is overthrown.

I'd just like to say "put up or shut up". You either have evidence that he was backed by the CIA, or you don't. None of this "well it is really really likely because I have a feeling" stuff. We can acknowledge it as a possibility having no evidence, but we can't pretend its near to being fact. Not trying to sound accusatory, just trying to limit baseless conjecture. I'm aware of the CIA's involvement in the past with Iran's political affairs, but so is the Iranian government, who would at this point I think be sharp enough to check in to a Presidential candidates affiliations and sources of funding.

Oh and yes to this quote, its not like governments have ever rigged/manipulated elections.

this whole thing is very suspicious.. we all heard about the CIA operating in Iran as much as 3 years ago, funding terrorism and such..

hmm... regime change rings a bell here..

Mousavi is not Sakashvili. The Empire is not interested in propping up governments that will seek peaceful relations on equal terms and mutual respect. The Empire wants unconditional submission. Mousavi is not a stooge. Thus he is if anything more dangerous to the Empire, because coming from a reformist camp he can not be as easily demonised.

Ask yourself one thing: Would Israel want Mousavi in power?

You have to understand Ahmedinedjad is a mad Keynesian. He nearly ruined Iran`s economy with inflation, stimuluses and spending. It is very hard he would have gotten 63% of the votes. You don`t need the CIA to be pissed off about that.

Good point. Our government probably wants Ahmadenijad to stay in power, because if there's one less boogeyman in the world, they can no longer use him to scare us into sacrificing more of our liberties. It is another form of controlled opposition.

Look how well it works on the conservative voters here in the U.S. "Oh my God, we can't support Ron Paul. His weak isolationist foreign policy will encourage Iran to nuke Israel off the face of the Earth. Iran is just too big of a threat. What does Ron Paul want? Another unchecked Hitlerian rise-to-power?"

So, they get stuck with someone like McCain as the "conservative" nominee.

From the Fox News article: (including the misspelling of "spiraling", lol)

Iran has enjoyed revenues in excess of $300 billion, but the poor are worse off than before. By spending those revenues as if there were no tomorrow he has sent inflation, rents and property prices spiralling upwards while failing to tackle rampant unemployment.

While it would never surprise me to see the CIA messing about in another country's affairs, I'm just not sure that's happening in this case. There's nothing like mass unemployment and out of control spending leading to inflation to piss off a sizable minority, if not majority, of people.

    Sound familiar?

Bush sanctions 'black ops' against Iran

    By Tim Shipman in Washington
    Published: 27 May 2007

President George W Bush has given the CIA approval to launch covert "black" operations to achieve regime change in Iran, intelligence sources have revealed.

Mr Bush has signed an official document endorsing CIA plans for a propaganda and disinformation campaign intended to destabilise, and eventually topple, the theocratic rule of the mullahs.

An independent, objective poll was conducted in Iran by American pollsters prior to the election. The pollsters, Ken Ballen of the nonprofit Center for Public Opinion and Patrick Doherty of the nonprofit New America Foundation, describe their poll results in the June 15 Washington Post. The polling was funded by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and was conducted in Farsi “by a polling company whose work in the region for ABC News and the BBC has received an Emmy award.”*

The poll results, the only real information we have at this time, indicate that the election results reflect the will of the Iranian voters. Among the extremely interesting information revealed by the poll is the following:

“Many experts are claiming that the margin of victory of incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was the result of fraud or manipulation, but our nationwide public opinion survey of Iranians three weeks before the vote showed Ahmadinejad leading by a more than 2 to 1 margin — greater than his actual apparent margin of victory in Friday’s election.

Keep reading articles of the last 2 years on Iran and our covert operations to destabalize the country. The exact strategy is unkown, but it is our policy and has been approved by key members in congress.

No it is not reasonable at all. Why bother studying Iran and getting actual knowledge when you can just digg up a color picture from somewhere? What you are doing is horoscope, not information.

If the movement is co-opted by the CIA which is controlled by the NWO, then it is very reasonable.

Not when you are using the color scheme as some sort of proof that the movement *is* co-opted by the CIA.

First you must establish a CIA link, not the other way around. You have it backwards.

We already established the link several times over. We're just finding more patterns because it is entertaining to see how obvious the whole thing is. You're the one not paying attention.. either that or you are using a psy-op tool known as "mis-directing"

Let's see, the US government secretly makes plans for the CIA to destabilize Iran and gets caught.. part of the plan was to use popular internet communications.. this was back in 2007, and now it's all going down on twitter.

An independent polling organization found that Mousavi was down 2:1 3 weeks before the election. The election takes place and Mousavi loses 2:1, then complains of election fraud. The CIA spreads propaganda to the people that the election was fixed, and simultaneously spread the information to US media. They show the Iranians conveniently protesting in English and throw it all over the news.

This is the most elementary CIA op I've seen in years.

They aren't omnipotent, but international intelligence do have practically unlimited resources because they are funded by the global banking cartel and the illegal drug trade.
