The feds are likely to raid any compound or acreage that allows the free transfer of bud. That's why a true free state needs to be a statewide thing. Heck, Wyoming even has an offshoot of the Real FSP (#2 sig line) but they do very little as far as activism is concerned. I appreciate the emulation though, shows we're doing great things up here in New Hampshire.

Doubt it, bro. You must be new to the freedom movement cause you should know that commie states have state income and sales taxes plus seatbelt, helmet and mandatory car insurance laws. Plus I roll around open carrying everyday for the hell of it and no one says boo. Nice try. I honestly hope that y'all do your thang with no problemos. But, if it doesn't work out like you plan, come on thru.

Once you guys in NH defrost your brains and realize you are living in a communist state without seatbelt laws, you will be welcome to join the real freedom movement in Nevada -- a state that voted in record numbers for Dr Ron Paul, with barely any resources from the campaign dedicated to Nevada. Your little communist iceblock in NH, unfortunately, failed big time when the chips were down in 2008. NH embarrassed Ron Paul.

I'm quite sure that Governor Penn Jillette of Nevada will move quickly to legalize the greenery once we get him into office. We'll reserve some land down south near the Arizona border for you NH types, so you can thaw out faster.

1st, let me say I appreciate this kind of healthy dialogue. You should know that NV is a caucus state that takes less effort to get higher vote totals for a prez candidate. If NH was a caucus state, you can bet that Dr. Paul would've won hands down. NH is like the 1st primary in the country and typically has 10 or more candidates in the race still to break down the vote totals quite immensely. Paul's main advertisement up here didn't focus on guns, taxes, personal liberties. Instead he (or his campaign) made the mistake of dwelling on immigration, something which we have little of. Are you aware that NH is over 96% white, 1.5% Asian, 1.5% hispanic and less than 1% black - wrong issue to pick in New England. NH still had the highest primary vote total for Paul with all of the main candidates intact.

I enjoy your comments on NH in regards to the more mild climate, since I've heard and debated those comments before ad nauseum. The Founding Fathers would've have laughed at that type of summer patriotism as they put it all on the line at Valley Forge in the climax of winter, often w/o the proper clothing to keep them going while knowing their families could be in jeopardy a ways away. They pledged their "lives, Fortunes and sacred honor" for liberty, while all you'd have to do is move to a place that is cold half the year. If you must have warmth all year round, then by all means do what you do.

The reason our activists are so great up here is because the best of the best come from all around w/o regard to minor inconveniences. More great activists are being siphoned away from other states every week and it will only continue into posterity as people really start to see what the Real Free State will be like. Ya know, we have a thing up here which I refer to as a heater, and it helps in the winter - just like AC helps in the summer. If the focal point of your argument is against the cold, then by all means do your southern thing on your plot of land. You know we wish you well. And the best Free State Project (sig line #2) will have plenty to brag about in the future. Like I said before, emulation is the best form of flattery, dude.

And we have too many beautiful lakes to even count, plus legions of streams, ponds and 17 miles of ocean up here in the Hamp. So, HWP, who's buying all this land to sublease? If only 2 of you show up, who's paying the property taxes on the rest in the meantime? I'm thinking Paulville right now, forgive me. And, HWP, why don't you want to be closer to your buddy that's supposedly running for Senate so you can help him campaign?

Please clarify as I'm trying to get the big picture here.

Although I'm an anarchist non-voter, I have to admit this is pretty funny.

Dude, FSP-Rebel, I'm joking around about "Pawnsville." Get it, a joke?

But the fact remains that NH is a very foolish place to attempt what you are doing. The place is filled with communists and socialists, the weather sucks bigtime, and land is incredibly expensive compared to Nevada. The whole project is doomed because you guys simply chose the wrong state. Nevada is a much, much better state for a Free State project. Hopefully you guys will wake up and smell the coffee soon.

I'm glad you started a phony thread for me to be able to critique to this this point. It's pretty funny as I look back on it. But, we're serious about our concept up here. You are right that there are undoubtedly commies and socialists up here, but have you even looked into why we picked NH? I've already addressed the weather issue which you've never refuted further. And, there's plenty of towns up here where you can get away with paying little property taxes. Off the top of my head, Seabrook comes to mind. It has low prop taxes and has a more mild climate in the winter compared to the rest of the state since weather is your main issue. I'm befuddled that you slander us with the commie talk after I've told you before what many pro-liberty concepts we have to offer. You simply refuse to even acknowledge them, what gives? More so, you've never replied in regards to how the Founders would think in relation to your sentiments on warmer climates being the necessity for liberty to take hold. Again, we have folks that move here Every week to advance our cause. Does NV or any other state have that going for them? Does any other state have a constant influx of liberty loving people moving in? I moved here for the freedom I didn't have in Michigan and the prospect of having a lot more of it in the foreseeable future. Would you still say I'm out of my mind. Don't answer yes til you've refuted every question I've asked thus far and/or critiqued the facts that I've given throughout your 'joke' post.

Interesting idea. I wish you success and understand your idea. When I tell people about the FSP they often think, good idea. Then they mention that people should do it where they live. NV was looked at and it is a lot more free than some places, like CA. However, NH won the FSP vote.

Just this year a study came out which said NH was the freest state in the nation. NV was ranked 24.

I'll break it down by category:
Fiscal Policy Ranking NH 1, NV 13
Regulatory Policy Ranking NH 18, NV 33
Economic Freedom Ranking NH 2, NV 23
Personal Freedom Ranking NH 13, NV 32

The study is called Freedom in the 50 States : An Index of Personal and Economic Freedom

Hey FSP, if you want to have a serious debate and compare Nevada to your freezing, communist-ridden state there in New Hampshire, I would be happy to debate that issue with you formally. We can get out the stats and maps and all the relevant information. When I have time I will start a thread and invite you to present your side of the issue.

Keith, that study is a bunch of horse$#@!.

I'm down for the debate whenever and wherever, bro. You make accusations but fall far short of making your case. If I have to restate all the legitimate reasons to move to NH, I will + more. So, you better get your game in order. As you've seen, we have back up and there's so much more where that came from. The "your freezing, communist-ridden state there in New Hampshire" isn't going to cut it. Facts win the day with RP folk, not baseless throw-away arguments. Come on dude, you can do better than that. But, it's hard to defeat the logic behind the real FSP... I still luv ya though. While you sit in NV, I'll be campaigning for your homie in my neck of the woods.

I'm not sitting anywhere. Assuming I can take some time off from my business here in CA, I would love to spend some time helping Schiff.

And trust me, when I enter a debate, I enter it to win, so YOU better bring your A game if you are going to try to defend that socialist iceblock New Hampshire. I'll give you a hint. It's not necessarily overall population you have to look at, but population density. Also, land prices, and the existing political views of the local denizens.

I think I've heard at least a dozen different people present a dozen different places as the optimal alternate location, and coincidence coincidence, they all just happen to be where they already live ...

Pawns, at least visit Porcfest this summer, to get an idea of what your options are . It's just a week, plane tickets are cheap, you'll have a great time, and then at least you'll know what you're critiquing ...

The use of force to impose morality is itself immoral, and generosity with others' money is still theft.

If our society were a forum, congress would be the illiterate troll that somehow got a hold of the only ban hammer.

My brother, I told you a few pages back that NH has the highest density per capita of liberty activists in the world, and I stand by that statement - it's an undeniable fact. Go on ahead and make that thread for me. In the spirit of liberty for all, I want to say that you're one of my favorite and coolest people on this forum and you're a great sport. Plus, plz PM me when you come up to campaign for Schiff and I'll stand beside you in this feat. In the end, we're all on the same team for freedom even though we have differing opinions on certain things.

Yes. That is the sound the wind makes as it blows through "Pawnsville" because there's going to be no one nor nothing there.

I wouldn't rag on NH too much if I were you, considering the results of the caucuses in Nevada last year:

It's not too promising, to me.

Thx for bringing that pic up, it will be something that HWP will like to peruse.

Good luck taking over Nevada with its massively ballooning population. Keep us apprised of your progress.
