    Im tired...the Revolution is tired...

I have been around since before the November 5th days. I remember being so excited about this new-to-me guy Ron Paul. He spoke like I might speak around a campfire, just bullshitting about the government. I fell in love with this man's ideas.

The December Tea Party was the first time I became completely involved. I sat at my kitchen table with chills running down my spine, watching the counter ($2300 Later) as our "Revolution" raised a crazy amount of money. Everything seemed perfect!

As time went by and you really had the sense that something special was going on. Ron Paul blimp, sign bombs, late night chat, owning you tube etc... And my wife hand writing hundreds of notes to potential voters in Iowa.

Then it happened Ron Paul couldn't win. That didnt stop us though. Ron called for his own convention in the Twin Cities and thousand showed up. The Republican party knew we were not going away.

Ron then announced we should March on Washington. I thought to myself this is it, lets do this. Lets show everyone "The Revolution" is not dead. It would be the first time I ever marched for anything. It was great! My whole body had chills as my wife, daughter, and son walked down Constitution Ave.

Days later my 2 little kids kept screaming... "RON PAUL REVOLUTION....GIVE US BACK OUR CONSTITUTION" ...to this day they still know it!

The Campaign for Liberty was started and it quickly had over 100,000 supporters. Folks looked for their marching orders and waited. HR 1207 was introduced and Congress woke up, thanks to our pressure.

    And as we wait...

My Patience grows thin, my Hope shines big, my dollar gets weak, my kids get debt,
my liberty gets less, my constitution fades, my tv lies, my house is worth less, my body and mind get tired. This Revolution is tired!! But im STILL IN!

HOW BOUT IT .....Are you still in???

I'm in. I just moved to NH as part of the Free State Project yesterday and I have already called our reps to insist on them supporting 1207. I also just called my state senator to tell her to keep the seatbelt bill tabled permanently.

There can be lots of reasons for feeling tired. The Ron Paul message now has nearly half of the Congress cosponsoring a bill to audit the Fed. This is some terrific progress. I'd say you're doing great. Your contributions have been very valuable and I think it is obvious that the current Ron Paul Revolution's appeal and visibility has much to owe to all of the grassroots efforts going back to early 2007. Out investments are starting to pay off. So let's all keep it up!

I'm tired myself. But there are only two directions you can go--toward totalitarianism or toward freedom. This isn't a choice.

One thing has certainly changed since I started. We're still going the wrong direction--and faster than ever--but more people are aware of it than ever before. That alone is such a change and such a relief I can't describe it.

Hard to change the ship's direction when you aren't the helmsman. But not impossible. And we could get our hands on that wheel yet!

    Hells yeah, I'm still in!

The only thing that has changed is that now I'm a little more skeptical of the idea of attaining liberty through political means and much more enamored with the civil disobedience side of things, like general non-cooperation and secessionist movements like The Free State Project.

The revolution has quietened down in America, but is rapidly gaining traction in Europe. The Euro elections in a few weeks are heating up with a lot of pro freedom candidates from different parties running. What ever happened to the attempt to take over the Republican Party?

It proceeds, county by county. We'll see how we've done and what we've got by the fall of 2010.

I spend a huge portion of my day following forums. I am blessed with a job that allows me to do this for 9 months out of the year. Money is tight right now because I had a wonderful 3.5 month vacation with no money. Now that I am working again and will be for the next 3 to 4 months or so I will be preparing again. Now when I feel I have enough debt paid down and enough silver to offset inflation I will start donating again. Believe me though my heart is with You because when I go to work I am away from my family which is 9 months a year. I hate the tax system because it robs me of my time with my little girl and makes me work more and more like a $#@!ing slave..... So no I haven't forgot You guys and I come hear a lot I am just swamped with the idiocracy of the government and the sheep.
