Default New 768mb XFX 9600 GSO video card auction for donations to Rand

Video card came in a PC kit, but the linux drivers aren't playing nice with it (so yes, it has been used for ~2 hours ), and I don't have use for it anywhere else. It does work, it's just the linux drivers. This will run fine on a Windows PC.

    Exact product: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150320

Free shipping. The card will not be in the original packaging. Also includes free sealed copy of "Company of Heroes".

    Donations are to go here:
    https://www.randpaul2010.com/donation

Starting bid @ $10.00. Bidding capped at $100.00 (first person to bid wins, were this to happen). Highest bidder wins, otherwise. Bidding ends on Tuesday, May 26 (day after Memorial Day) at 12:01 AM.

The winner (announced on Tuesday) is to forward the confirmation email from Rand's campaign along with shipping address to benjm00@gmail(--dotcom--).

    Cheers.

Oh -- for the hell of it, I'll toss in a $25 donation to the Rand campaign if the $100.00 cap is reached.

So you are going to give it away basically and take the bid money and use it to donate? I'm thinking about it, I'll have to look up some benchmarks and compare it to my current card. If I'm going to upgrade it might as well be for a good cause.

Yes. I don't handle the money at all. It will be donated directly to the campaign from the buyer.

Well I looked into it and it's not really what I'm looking for to replace my 8800 GT, too bad though, it is a really nice card.
