Is the Revolution: A Manifesto in your school or public library?

If not, consider making a request! Or if you have a spare copy, donate it! I just searched through the catalog of my city public library and found that they have The Revolution: A Manifesto on hand.



You shouldn't have too much trouble getting your library to stock it if they don't, just make sure to mention how it was on the NY Times Bestseller list and who the author is. If your library has room to house books on proper aquarium care, I'm sure they could fit a copy of the Revolution in.

I don't get libraries. I feel sad when I walk into one. I can see that so many of the books, if not most, are never checked out and will never be checked out. If they are, I just can't comprehend it. I feel sad for the books.

The Mecklenburg County, NC System has twelve copies on hand, with at least three checked out at the moment. They also have only one copy of Murray Rothbard's "America's Great Depression", but at least four requests lined up!

I donated the book to my the local public library (they have a fair number of books that explore issues from various perspectives!!!).

This reminds me …I need to check to see if also vanished like the donated VHS of WACO-TRoE did several years ago, ...as did the replacement copy that I had also donated.

It figures in this land of statist/keynesian lincoln-lovers. The local gov here is pleased to announce approved plans for a $1,175,000 pedestrian walkway bridge (federal inflation bribe/grant?) to replace a functional "walk/don't walk" light that hardly anyone uses. Not even a whimper from the taxpayers who can now look forward to maintaining their new bridge in perpetuity.

I’m not sure about the dozen or so people (last time I checked) who have checked out the library's Revolution: A Manifesto. 11 out of 12 probably just read it to study the minds of the opposition. Chip implants will need to be compatible with all minds, "so say we all."

My local library has a few copies of The Revolution but my school doesn't have any. I was surprised that they had A Case For Gold and Pillars Of Prosperity though.

Ah...so I wasn't the only one who received little feedback from "the group" about book bombing the Duval County libraries eh?

I gave 2 copies away, one each to the Pablo Creek & Neptune Beach Branches.

Agreed. It seems like such disrespect to the production that went into them.

But then, I'm in a suburb, so I imagine that our libraries are relatively dead compared to urban libraries.

I do think it's fun to find an interesting book that hasn't been checked out for a while.

I use to feel the same way about some of my toys. They would be the ones that would meet a brutal death by firecrackers; esp. the GI Joes

As far as the books in the library that I've read and liked, sometimes, every once and a while I pull them further out on the shelves so they stick out for those that are just browsing the section. Not everybook is equal, some deserve special privileges.

Its in my library, but only one copy and I wouldn't know if its currently checked out.
