Default New Website to Fight for Online Gambling

In advance of the imminent reintroduction of key legislation to legalize and regulate Internet gambling, we have launched a redesigned site (www.safeandsecureig.org) with background on the issue and more tools for supporters to spread the word about the need for Congress to act.

Beyond visiting the new site, you can join us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and watch us on YouTube. We also encourage you to forward this message to any friends and colleagues that may be interested in this issue.

    Thanks,

It does not need to be regulated. Before congress made it illegal to fund online poker sites not many people got scammed! Poker players knew where to play and where the honest card rooms were. I bet with the regulations more people will be scammed out of their money.

more laws = bad, less laws = good
regulations that protect property, contracts, liberty, and the individual

We need the industry regulated so that when Americans gamble online they can do so in an environment where licensed operators are held accountable. Currently, the underground marketplace is run by offshore operators that can’t be held legally accountable. We deserve the freedom to gamble online and basic regulations that provide some assurances we won’t be scammed.

It really is disheartening when when the people that are supposed to understand how regulation is bad fall into this contradiction too.
