In that report where it says "Rand supports the stimulus" it then says "unless it's paid for by inflation or borrowing" is kind of an error.
My bet is that Rand was being sarcastic and the reporter didn't pick up on it (Rand's sense of humor is like his father's; subtle and sometimes dry).
I could EASILY see Rand in my mind saying "yeah I support the stimulus, so long as it isnt paid for with borrowing or by printing money" and the sarcasm factor completely going over the AP reporter's head. Journalists are not known for their critical thinking skills.
