    Question USA Daily?

    http://www.usadaily.com/

I remember USA Daily being new in mid or late 2007 and being a real pro-Ron Paul news site and now it has just disappeared. What happened?

Okay, some USA Daily stories from the now-gone site:

Ron Paul is now the GOP frontrunner

Counting the 6 million from yesterday Ron Paul has raised 18.2 million dollars in this quarter from over 120,000 donors. Put in perspective media darling Mike Huckabee’s struggling campaign has raised only 1.2 million dollars this month. Paul’s campaign if it hits 20 million by New Year’s Eve has a shot at raising more cash than Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama as well in the fourth quarter.

Ron Paul in strongest position to win the GOP nomination

As of 3:30 pm, the Ron Paul campaign had raised $3.4 million dollars today. As a point of interest, there had been 11,580 ‘new’ donors, indicating strong growth in Dr. Paul’s base of support.

At this point it looks like Ron Paul will end up pulling in somewhere between 6-7 million dollars for the day, although, a late surge could send it higher. Doing so will put Paul’s campaign in a position to hit the 20 million dollar mark this quarter, which is staggering given Paul only raised just over 5 million in the third quarter.

Ron Paul has out raised all of his GOP opponents this quarter and most likely is sitting on more cash as well. Over 100,000 people have donated to Paul’s campaign this quarter demonstrating his popular support among Republicans.

Ron Paul promises to rescue the republic, and drink tea…

In anticipation of a historic fund raising day on Sunday, Ron Paul, the Republican presidential frontrunner according to 4rth quarter fund raising, gave an inspirational message via his campaign website to supporters.

Ron Paul said to supporters, “You and I know our real country -- the America of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, of economic, civil, and personal liberty, of strong families and communities, of great businesses and professions, of strong peace and low taxes and sound money -- all of which are under assault by the politicians who occupy our nation’s capital.”

Republican presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul's campaign will likely exceed its fourth quarter fundraising goal of $12 million this weekend.

I can post more, but that is the gist of it. I really miss this site. It was a pro-Paul site that did nothing but talk up Paul and his views, but didn't have that "it's a Ron Paul site" look or feel, and as thus was posted all over the internet by people thinking it was an unbiased viewpoint because of the name and look. It really was a powerful tool that was around for about a year between mid-2007 and mid-2008.

USA Daily or a site like it really could help us spread the message now and promote the Campaign for Liberty. Why is it gone now?

I think the name was perfect. It sounded so established. I think it got all the digg clicks because people kept thinking it was U.S.A today, only to be served some Ron Paul propaganda.
"It is our true policy to steer clear of entangling alliances with any portion of the foreign world. "
    George Washington

"Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations"
    James Madison

Exactly. The name made it sound so legit. I saw it passed on all these anti-Paul sites during the campaign as proof the "MSM is shilling for Ron Paul."

We need a new "USA Daily".
