Post TN-CFL Meeting with Rand Paul (photos)

It is Saturday January 31st and here in Nashville we are having TN's first major CFL event. At the moment a grassroots activist organization called Take Back Kentucky is giving us a legislative training session about how to affect decisions and bring about change with your local and state government. Their site is http://www.takebackkentucky.com/

Looks like by the end of the day we'll have about 100 people. Rand will give the keynote address around 5pm.

Here are some photos from thus far:

That's great. The GOP only wishes it could get 100 people to its meetings.

Well I can't take credit for pulling the thing off, Josh, Justin, Katie, and Jeff actually did the majority of the work. I simply planted the idea and worked to execute it.

    Good to see, thanks
Don't let others get you down. Not naysayers, not pretenders, not appeasers, not opportunists; none of em.

What others do pales beside what YOU do.

Press on! - The r3VOLution continues...

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."

I was the one taking the pictures. And I didn't have much chance to pose for phots; I was too busy.

Tip for the future: stay busy.

When you're not, you appear to get bored, start scandals, play the victim, post pictures of you posing and generally anything else that attracts attention to yourself in some way, shape or form. 'Whoring' would be an impolite way to put it.

Again, do us all and yourself a favor. Stay busy.

Rand is awesome, what was the talk about?

I have done neither. And why are you attacking me?

It's called a sense of humor which apparently it doesn't appear you have.

"I got Rand to the TN-CFL training session and organizational meeting yesterday. We spoke about this and he said that he would wait on his wife's permission first lol. He had previously told me he wanted to wait until his sons were grown which makes sense also. Also he did say that he didn't want to do the local offices, he just wanted to run for Congress. He doesn't know when he could run because the political situation in KY is not conducive at the moment to allow for that.

But imagine the possibility.... we could have TWO Dr. R. Paul's in Congress at the same time! "

Sadly, or happily--that was my exact thought. Perhaps the ego is taking a back seat to a more important issue?

    I remain skeptical.

I don't have one. But Rand's son, Duncan, was filming it.

The truth is an attack? Hmmm.. I guess so.

It's called ego. Something you have way too much of.

Lol, precisely. We can only pray... and HOPE he CHANGES... sadly, I get reminded of someone else in the same situation..
