Supreme Court Chief Justice Demands More Pay for Court

Chief Justice Roberts says, "Where is our bailout?" (kinda.)

...increases that have been unfairly denied

Its not like they don't have any benefits.

I thought they already received a pay hike as part of one of the recent bailouts.

How 'bout they tackle the Eligibility of a President-Elect whose authority I hear an INCREASING number of people say they will not recognize if the Supremes do NOT come out from under their Invisibility Cloaks -- then we'll talk pay raise.

Perhaps they should be paid by Case -- like "piecework" in sweat shops.

Yep, that black robe has a lot of cache, and I don't get it. I exaggerate not at all when I say that every judge with whom I have become acquainted -- every single one of 'em, whether I met them in court or met them socially or met them as parents in the school system -- has either been an arrogant prick or an outright Weirdo.

As well, presuming that lower court judges will also line up for a pay raise, shall we be able to dock the pay of judges whose rulings are found on appeal to lack judicial integrity? Or RECALL THEM?

I have a quick question about the Supreme Court.

What if their ruling is wrong? Why should 5 individuals (all it takes for the majority rule) have complete control over every American? If they are against marijuana use, it's banned. If they are against gay marriage, it's banned.

How do you stop them from taking over complete control? What if tomorrow they make a ruling on a case stating that it's constitutionally legal to steal from your neighbor if it benefits you. That would clearly be illegal and unconstitutional, but what if they ruled it constitutional? What could be done to stop them from doing such?

Whatever they say goes. Is that how we should live?

Congress got a pay raise, therefore judges should also receive a COLA adjustment. If Congress refuses it to one branch, they need to refuse it to themselves, otherwise the other branches would need to submit to the will of Congress on all issues, and that is also bad. I don't mind government officials making a lot of money compared to the rest of the population because it means that more people would be willing and able to fill those posts.
