I was at the 07 Iowa Straw Poll. The person with the most money spent won. (Romney) He bussed in hundreds if not over a thousand so he would win. He entertained and fed them well and they returned the favor with a vote.
In your video you mention that the Straw Poll favors those with less money. I would disagree and say that whoever spends the most wins.
Funny that McCain skipped the Straw Poll and ended up winning the nomination. I think he only got 100 votes there. Kind of throws a wrench in Doug's plan.
